Process of making
Keyboards, sketchpads, trackpads and mouses, all influence the way we interact, and how we posture ourselves behind the computer or laptop. A good posture when using these devices is important in preventing issues like RSI and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. How can we measure correct positioning of the hand and fingers on the mouse and provide feedback when misuse occurs? We integrated the MTK into the mouse for intervention.
Learning from activities
The main contribution of this design would be the prevention of RSI and other strain-related injuries and aches. Additionally, by not looking at shape, but at hand posture and grip, we hope to provide an additional way to measure and correct hand posture.
